ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at different training methods to see which one helps university basketball and volleyball players perform better and stay healthy. The study will compare three types of training: plyometric exercises (which involve jumping and explosive movements), functional training (focusing on movements used in daily life and sports), and whole-body electrical muscle stimulation (a method that uses electrical impulses to stimulate muscle contractions). Researchers want to find out which training method leads to the best improvements in skills like speed and agility, as well as how they affect overall health and mental well-being.
To participate in this study, players must be between 18 and 30 years old, be on their university basketball or volleyball teams, and be in good health. They will go through a series of training sessions where they will try at least two of the three methods over a total of 20 weeks, with different assessments along the way to track their progress. This research could help coaches and athletes understand the best ways to train for optimal performance and health.
