ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called "Outcomes of ICT Assistive Technology in RehabiliTAtIoN Pathways," is exploring how assistive technologies can improve communication and accessibility for individuals with disabilities. The study aims to help people who need support for communication, using computers, or controlling their environment through specially designed devices. Researchers will recruit 50 patients at a rehabilitation center in Milan, Italy, and evaluate their needs and progress both before they receive these assistive devices and again 3 to 6 months later.
To be eligible for this study, participants should be individuals who need prosthetic interventions for communication or accessibility and must agree to take part in the research. There are no specific medical conditions that would exclude someone from participating. During the trial, participants can expect to undergo assessments using user-friendly software on computers or an accessible website, making it easy for everyone to participate. This study is currently in the recruiting phase, and both men and women of various ages are welcome to join.
