ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how Speed, Agility, and Quickness (SAQ) training can improve the physical and mental performance of university soccer players in China. The researchers believe that this type of training will help students run faster, react quicker, and enhance their soccer skills, like controlling the ball and passing. A total of 52 male soccer major students aged 18 and older will take part in the study. They will be divided into two groups: one group will undergo the SAQ training for 12 weeks, while the other group will not participate in this training. Researchers will measure the students' performance before, during, and after the training to see how effective it is.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be male soccer major students who have at least three years of professional training, have no recent injuries or surgeries, and haven’t participated in any SAQ training in the eight weeks before the trial. Interested participants will need to agree to complete all assessments and provide written consent. This study will not only help improve individual players but may also provide valuable insights into training methods for soccer players in general.
