ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how surgery for anal fistula affects patients' quality of life and daily activities. Researchers want to see how the surgery helps people feel and function better after the procedure by using various questionnaires to gather information. The trial is currently looking for volunteers to participate, and it welcomes individuals aged 18 to 65 who have a specific type of anal fistula that requires surgery.
If you decide to join the trial, you will undergo the surgery and then complete several questionnaires at different times to share how you are feeling and how your life is changing afterward. It's important to note that patients with other anal conditions, like hemorrhoids or inflammatory bowel diseases, are not eligible to participate. This study aims to provide valuable insights into the benefits of fistula surgery, helping future patients understand what to expect.
