ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding the physical strains or forces that gastroenterologists experience while performing a specific procedure called endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD). This procedure is important for removing early-stage cancers from the digestive tract without needing traditional surgery. However, many doctors who perform these procedures face musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) due to the repetitive and demanding nature of their work. The study aims to gather information about these physical stresses to help improve working conditions and reduce the risk of injuries among gastroenterologists.
To participate in this trial, individuals must be adult gastroenterologists who are actively performing endoscopic submucosal dissections and who agree to take part in the study. Participants can expect to contribute to important research that may lead to better practices and recommendations for their profession. The trial is not yet recruiting, but it is a step towards enhancing the safety and comfort of doctors who perform these crucial procedures.
