ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) can be used to improve ultrasound-guided medical procedures, like placing anesthesia or inserting lines. The goal is to see if these technologies can help doctors see the body’s structures more clearly and perform these procedures more accurately. By making the process easier for healthcare providers, the hope is to enhance the overall experience and outcomes for patients.
To participate in this study, you need to be an adult patient who is scheduled for an ultrasound-guided procedure and classified as having a low to moderate health risk (ASA physical status I, II, or III). However, if you are pregnant, incarcerated, or have a body mass index (BMI) over 35, you won't be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to use AR/VR technology during your procedure, which could potentially make it more comfortable and effective. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, so more information will be available once it begins.
