ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of Brain Gym Therapy on improving sleep quality in elderly individuals. Many older adults struggle with sleep issues, which can be caused by age-related changes or health problems. The researchers want to find out if this special type of therapy, which involves gentle exercises designed to engage the brain and body, can help these individuals sleep better. Participants will take part in Brain Gym sessions over a set period, and their sleep quality will be measured using a standard tool to track improvements.
To be eligible for the study, participants need to be at least 60 years old, currently attending a healthcare facility, and experiencing sleep difficulties, as determined by a specific score on a sleep quality questionnaire. They should also be physically able to perform the gentle exercises involved in the therapy and able to provide consent to join the study. However, individuals with severe memory problems, certain medical conditions, or those currently taking sleep medications will not be able to participate. This trial offers a chance to explore a new, non-medication approach to help older adults achieve better sleep, which is an important part of their overall health and well-being.
