ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how two different tests can help understand why some people have trouble breathing, specifically those who feel short of breath. The researchers want to see if measuring how easily air flows in and out of the lungs (using a test called Oscillometry) is related to the results of another test that checks how well a person can exercise while breathing (Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing). By understanding this connection, doctors hope to better assess and treat patients with breathing difficulties.
To participate in this study, you should be between the ages of 65 and 74, and you need to be willing to do the breathing tests. It's also important that you can speak and understand English, as this will help you follow the instructions during the tests. If you choose to take part, you will undergo some simple breathing tests to help researchers gather important information about your lung function. This trial is currently looking for participants, and your involvement could contribute to improving care for others with similar breathing issues.
