ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, titled "The Laughter, Pregnancy, Anxiety, and Life Quality," is exploring the effects of laughter yoga on pregnant women who have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes. This type of diabetes can happen during pregnancy, usually between the 24th and 28th weeks, and it may cause stress and affect the quality of life for expectant mothers. The study aims to see if laughter yoga, which combines laughter and breathing exercises, can help these women feel less stressed and improve their overall well-being.
To participate in this trial, women need to be at least 18 years old, able to read and understand Turkish, and must have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes. They should also be comfortable communicating and be part of social media groups like WhatsApp. Participants will complete surveys about their stress levels and quality of life. If you or someone you know is interested in joining this study, it could be a great opportunity to explore a fun and positive way to manage stress during pregnancy.
