ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and how it may help women experiencing Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS). PMS is a condition that many women feel in the days leading up to their period, causing physical and emotional symptoms. Researchers want to see if EFT can improve these symptoms and the overall quality of life for nursing students who suffer from PMS.
To be eligible for the study, participants must be female nursing students aged 18 and older, have a regular menstrual cycle, and score above a certain level on a PMS scale. The trial involves two groups: one group will receive eight sessions of EFT over eight weeks, while the other group will not receive any treatment during this time. Participants will complete some surveys to measure their symptoms and quality of life, and those who agree to take part will be randomly assigned to either group. This study aims to find out if EFT can make a positive difference in managing PMS symptoms.
