ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a virtual support program designed to help new mothers who may be experiencing postnatal depression (PND) and anxiety. These feelings can affect not only the mother's health but also how she connects with her baby and the child's development. By providing support through online resources, this program aims to improve the well-being of both mothers and their infants.
To participate, mothers must be Pakistani females aged 18 to 45 who have recently given birth (within the last 6 weeks) and have access to a smartphone or computer with internet. They should also be able to understand and speak either Urdu or English. However, mothers with severe mental health issues, substance dependence, or certain pregnancy complications, as well as those whose infants have serious health problems, will not be eligible. Participants can expect to engage with supportive resources online, which may help them cope better with the challenges of new motherhood.
