ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring a new program called YourSkills, which uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) combined with virtual reality (VR) to help children aged 10 to 16 who struggle with anger or disruptive behaviors. The study aims to find out if this program can effectively reduce these behaviors, how engaged the children are during the sessions, and what both the children and their parents think about the experience. The program will take place over ten individual sessions at clinics in Sweden.
To participate in the trial, children must be between 10 and 16 years old and show increased levels of anger or disruptive behaviors. However, children with certain conditions, like autism or severe depression, won't be eligible. Throughout the program, parents and children will complete surveys to track progress, and after completing the program, everyone involved will have the chance to share their thoughts during interviews. This research is important as it could lead to new ways to support children dealing with difficult behaviors.
