ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to understand how accurately clear aligners can move teeth to correct issues like misalignment, known as malocclusion. Researchers will compare the planned movement of teeth, as designed on a computer, with the actual movement seen in patients who receive these aligners. To do this, they will take detailed scans and photographs of patients’ mouths before and during treatment to monitor progress and any differences between the expected and actual results.
To participate, you need to be between 18 and 65 years old, generally healthy, and have a specific type of dental misalignment with all permanent teeth (except for wisdom teeth) fully grown. You also need to be committed to following the treatment plan. Throughout the study, there will be no invasive procedures—just regular check-ups to see how well the aligners are working. This study aims to ensure that clear aligners are a safe and effective option for improving smiles.
