ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a specific surgical procedure called modified extra-articular lateral column lengthening. The goal is to see how well this surgery works for adults with flexible flatfoot deformity, especially for those who have not found relief from other treatments. Researchers want to evaluate both the imaging results (like X-rays) and how the surgery affects patients' ability to walk and move comfortably.
To be eligible for this trial, participants need to be adults aged between 16 and 65 years who are experiencing symptoms from flexible flatfoot after trying other non-surgical treatments without success. Unfortunately, those who have had previous foot surgeries, have certain medical conditions like autoimmune diseases, or are outside of the age range will not be able to participate. If individuals join the study, they can expect to closely monitor their progress and see how the surgery impacts their daily activities and foot health.
