ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new rehabilitation program for adults with C-shaped scoliosis, a condition where the spine curves to form a "C" shape. The researchers want to see how effective two different treatments are: one uses mechanical traction (a method to stretch the spine) and the other focuses on hands-on techniques and specific exercises. They will measure changes in the curve of the spine, how flexible it is, and how well patients can move and function.
To take part in this study, participants need to be between 18 and 30 years old and have a Cobb angle (the measurement of the spinal curve) between 10 and 30 degrees. This range is important because curves below 10 degrees typically don’t need treatment, while those above 30 degrees may require surgery. The trial is currently looking for new participants and will not accept anyone with certain medical conditions, such as previous orthopedic surgeries, serious injuries, or heart disease. Those who join can expect to receive one of the two treatments and be monitored for improvements in their condition.
