ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on preventing a type of skin injury called Medical Device-Related Pressure Injury (MDRPI), which can occur when medical devices put pressure on the skin, like breathing tubes or monitors. These injuries can be painful and affect a patient's recovery, making it important to find better ways to prevent them. The study aims to evaluate how training nurses on recognizing and preventing these injuries can improve patient care.
If you are a nurse who is willing to participate, or a patient who has been in intensive care for at least 24 hours without a pressure injury, you may be eligible for this trial. The training will be provided online, and both nurses and patients will be part of the evaluation process. Participation is voluntary, and the study hopes to improve the quality of care for patients in intensive care by enhancing nurses' knowledge about preventing these injuries.
