ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking into a condition called Testicular Adrenal Rest Tumor (TART) that can develop in boys who have Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH). The researchers want to understand what factors might increase the risk of TART in these boys. This study will include male patients aged between 4 to 18 years who have been diagnosed with CAH based on their symptoms and lab tests. However, boys with other causes of adrenal problems or those who have advanced to true precocious puberty are not eligible to participate.
If your child is eligible and joins the study, they will help researchers gather important information about TART and CAH. The trial is currently not recruiting participants, meaning it hasn’t started yet, but it aims to provide insights that could help doctors better understand these conditions and improve care for boys with CAH in the future.
