ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is exploring how effective a fun and engaging way of teaching can be for schoolchildren learning how to perform chest compressions, an important part of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). The study is part of the Kids Save Hearts Project and uses games and active learning techniques to help children understand how to provide this life-saving skill. The goal is to see if this gamified approach leads to better performance in how deep and effective the chest compressions are.

To participate, children need to be between the ages of 8 and 12, currently enrolled in elementary or secondary school, and must not have had any prior training in Basic Life Support (BLS). It's important that they also have a signed agreement from a parent or guardian. Those involved can expect to learn valuable skills while having fun, and the study aims to recruit participants who are eager to help make a difference in emergency situations.
