ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at how effective a specific genetic test, called pre-implantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT-A), is for couples dealing with male infertility, specifically those whose male partner has non-obstructive azoospermia. This condition means that the man does not have sperm in his semen due to a problem with sperm production. The study aims to see if using PGT-A helps increase the chances of having a healthy baby compared to not using this test during in vitro fertilization (IVF) or intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI).

To participate in this trial, couples must have already tried IVF or ICSI at a fertility clinic and the male partner must have a diagnosis of non-obstructive azoospermia or obstructive azoospermia, along with having undergone a surgical procedure to extract sperm. This trial is currently not recruiting participants, but if you meet the criteria, you might have the opportunity to contribute to important research that could help improve fertility outcomes for others in similar situations. Participants can expect to have their embryos tested for genetic conditions and the results could help guide their treatment choices moving forward.
