ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at how effective digital health tools, known as e-health interventions, can help breast cancer patients improve their mental health. The study aims to encourage these patients, aged 18 to 65, to seek support for issues like depression and anxiety by making mental health resources more accessible online. Researchers will compare the experiences of patients using these digital tools with those receiving traditional care, to see if the e-health approach can change how patients think about and pursue mental health support.

To participate in the study, patients must be undergoing treatment for breast cancer at Institut Kanser Negara (IKN) and be comfortable understanding information in Malay or English. Patients with brain metastasis, those diagnosed with a mental illness, or those with a poor performance status (meaning they have significant health issues) are not eligible. Participants can expect to engage with helpful online resources and share their experiences, contributing to important research that could improve mental health care for breast cancer patients in the future.
