ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how a special education program for parents can help reduce stress and improve their attitudes as their children enter early adolescence. During this time, children go through many physical and emotional changes, which can be challenging for both kids and their parents. The study aims to provide parents with helpful information about this transition, making it easier for them to communicate with their children and support them through these changes.
To participate in the trial, parents must have a child in the 4th to 7th grade and should not have attended a similar training before. They also need to be able to read and write, and participation is completely voluntary. Parents who join will attend a training program and complete some surveys before and after the program, as well as a follow-up. This study is important because it aims to help parents feel more confident and less stressed during a crucial time in their child’s life.
