ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at how patients feel about using their arms after having a stroke, especially during intensive rehabilitation. Many people experience weakness in their arms after a stroke, which can make it hard to regain their strength and confidence. The study aims to understand how the actual ability to use the arm relates to how patients perceive their own use of it. This information could help improve rehabilitation strategies for better recovery.

To participate in this trial, you must be between the ages of 65 and 74 and have had your first stroke, with some weakness in your arm. Unfortunately, if you have other severe disabilities affecting your arm or certain neurological conditions, you won’t be eligible. Participants will engage in rehabilitation activities and share their experiences about using their arms throughout the process. This study is currently recruiting, and your involvement could contribute to valuable insights that may help others in similar situations.
