ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how a mobile phone program can help older adults become more active, especially those who have long-term health conditions. The goal is to see if using a smartphone app can encourage seniors to move more and improve their health. The study is currently not recruiting participants, but it will include individuals aged 60 and older who own a smartphone and are comfortable using the WeChat app. Eligible participants should also spend at least six hours a day sitting.
If you or a loved one are interested in participating, it's important to know that you should not have any recent surgeries, injuries, or disabilities that would make it hard to be physically active. During the trial, participants can expect to engage with the mobile program, which will likely provide support and resources to help them increase their physical activity levels in a safe and manageable way. This study aims to find out if such an intervention can really make a difference in the lives of older adults with chronic diseases.
