ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of a mobile app designed to help people who struggle with repetitive negative thinking, which is often linked to feelings of depression and anxiety. The goal is to see if using this app can reduce the negative impact of constant worrying and improve overall well-being. Participants will be divided into four groups: one group will receive support from a therapist while using the app, another group will use the app without therapist support, a third group will answer daily questions about their feelings and thoughts, and the fourth group will only answer daily questions without using the app.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be at least 18 years old and report having issues with repetitive negative thinking. Those currently receiving therapy or taking psychiatric medication will not be able to join the study. Over four weeks, participants will provide daily updates on their mood and thoughts while using the app or answering questions. The researchers will check in before, immediately after, and one to three months after the study to see how everyone is doing. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to help people manage their emotions better and reduce anxiety and depression symptoms.
