ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding how well the Lysholm Knee Score can help measure recovery for patients undergoing surgery for a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). The study aims to find out the minimum score improvement that is important for patients after surgery and what factors might prevent some patients from achieving this improvement. This information will help doctors better understand patient recovery and provide more tailored care.
To be eligible for the study, participants need to be at least 18 years old and scheduled for ACL reconstruction surgery. However, people with certain conditions, such as metabolic or autoimmune diseases, or those who have had previous knee surgeries, are not eligible. Participants will complete some forms to track their recovery progress. This study is open to all genders and is currently recruiting patients. By taking part, individuals can contribute to important research that may enhance future care for knee injuries.
