ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding how many mothers of children with cerebral palsy experience something called "parental burnout." Parental burnout can make it very hard for mothers to cope with the daily challenges of caring for their children. The study aims to see if there is a connection between the levels of burnout these mothers feel and the motor skills of their children, which refer to how well the children can move and control their bodies.
To participate in this study, mothers must have a child aged between 3 and 18 years who has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Unfortunately, mothers who do not want to take part or those who have more than one child with a disability are not eligible. If chosen to participate, mothers will share their experiences and feelings about parenting, which may help researchers understand how to better support families like theirs. The study is currently looking for participants, and every bit of input is valuable in addressing the challenges these families face.
