ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of progressive relaxation exercises on patients who are about to undergo a procedure called coronary angiography, which helps doctors see how well your heart's blood vessels are working. The goal is to see if these relaxation exercises can help reduce anxiety, improve comfort, decrease pain, and positively influence vital signs, such as heart rate and blood pressure.
To participate, you need to be at least 18 years old, able to speak and understand Turkish, and set to have your first coronary angiography. You should not have any psychiatric conditions or significant sensory impairments. If you have chronic pain, are taking certain medications, or have had recent surgeries that could hinder relaxation, you may not be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to fill out some questionnaires to help measure your feelings of anxiety and comfort before and after the relaxation exercises. This trial has not started recruiting participants yet, but it aims to help make the experience of coronary angiography less stressful for future patients.
