ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is designed to explore a new way of preparing patients for lung surgery, called the "Prehabilitation model for Internet+ devices." The aim is to see if this modern approach, which uses internet-connected devices, can help patients get ready for surgery and recover faster compared to the traditional method. Participants will be asked to follow either the new program or the standard program for about 2 to 4 weeks before their operation. One of the main things the trial will check is how far patients can walk in six minutes before their surgery, which is a good measure of their physical fitness.
To be eligible for this trial, participants should be between 18 and 75 years old and have suspected lung cancer that requires surgery. However, those who have certain serious health issues, cannot use a smartphone or read Chinese, or engage in a lot of exercise each week may not qualify. It's important to know that the trial is not yet recruiting participants, so there will be more information available soon for those interested in taking part.
