ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying an intervention called Unstained to see if it can help improve sexual health behaviors in young people aged 14 to 19 who are either at risk for or involved in the juvenile justice system. The researchers want to find out if, three months after participating, young people are more likely to get tested for sexually transmitted infections and if, nine months later, they engage in less unprotected sex. Participants will be randomly assigned to either receive the Unstained program, which involves three virtual sessions, or a control group that won't receive any sexual or reproductive health information.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be residents of the United States, have access to the internet, and be comfortable reading and speaking in English. They should have had vaginal or anal sex in the last three months and must be at risk for or involved in the juvenile justice system. It’s important to note that those currently trying to get pregnant or who are in jail or detention cannot participate. If you're interested in supporting young people's sexual health and meeting the eligibility criteria, this could be a valuable opportunity.
