ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the use of a tool called a partograph to help monitor and manage labor more effectively. The partograph acts like an "early warning system" that gives doctors quick and clear information about how labor is progressing. This can help prevent prolonged labor, reduce the need for surgeries, and improve the health outcomes for newborns.
To participate in this trial, women who are having their first baby (primigravida) and are between the ages of 20 and 35 may be eligible. They should be between 37 and 41 weeks pregnant, with a single baby in the correct position for birth. Participants will be those who are in the early stage of labor, where their cervix is less than 7 centimeters open. However, women with certain complications, such as multiple babies or other medical issues, may not be able to join the study. Participants can expect to have their labor monitored using the partograph, which will help ensure they receive the best possible care during this important time.
