ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating how different surgical techniques for ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) reconstruction affect knee stability and recovery outcomes. Researchers want to see if using two small openings (two-portal technique) to perform the surgery is better than using three openings (three-portal technique). The trial will look closely at the position and length of the femoral tunnel, which is an important part of the surgery.
To participate in this study, you need to be between 16 and 50 years old and have had an ACL tear, whether or not you have other knee injuries. Importantly, you should have undergone ACL reconstruction surgery in the last five years. If you meet these criteria, you may be eligible to take part in the trial once it starts recruiting participants. If you do join, you can expect to help researchers understand which surgical method might lead to better recovery for patients with ACL injuries.
