ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how “Digital Navigators” (DN) can help patients and their healthcare providers use mental health apps more effectively. The aim is to understand how well these Digital Navigators can support general practitioners, psychiatrists, and psychologists, as well as their patients, in selecting and using digital tools for mental health treatment. The trial will look at whether patients find the Digital Navigators helpful, how they impact patients’ mental health, and whether they improve participants' ability to use technology.
To participate in the trial, you need to have a diagnosed mental health condition, be able to consent to the study, speak German well enough for an interview, and own a smartphone. You cannot join if you are in immediate danger to yourself or others, have recently received intensive psychiatric treatment, or have certain severe cognitive issues. If you enroll, you’ll be supported by a trained Digital Navigator for 12 weeks as you learn to use an app that can help with your mental health. This could be a great opportunity to enhance your treatment and digital skills!
