ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how different levels of vestibular hypofunction, a condition that affects balance and can cause dizziness, relate to specific balance tests. Researchers want to understand if the results from these tests can help identify the severity of balance issues in patients. The study will include people aged 12 to 85 who have been diagnosed with peripheral vestibular hypofunction and can communicate effectively. However, individuals with certain conditions, such as severe mobility issues or specific neurological disorders, will not be eligible to participate.
Participants in the trial can expect to provide some personal and medical information, undergo a series of vestibular (balance) tests, and have their balance assessed in a clinical setting. The goal is to gather valuable information that could help improve diagnosis and treatment for those experiencing dizziness and balance problems. If you're experiencing these symptoms and meet the eligibility criteria, this study could be a way to contribute to better understanding and management of vestibular conditions.
