ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how women can adapt to heat exposure and exercise training. Specifically, the study will involve 30 healthy, active women between the ages of 18 and 35. These participants will be randomly assigned to either a heat acclimation and exercise program or a regular exercise program in a comfortable temperature. Over 10 days, each participant will exercise for 60 minutes every day, and researchers will test their physical abilities and body responses before and after the program.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be within the age range mentioned and have a healthy body weight. They should also regularly engage in physical activities, like exercising at a moderate intensity for at least 30 minutes three times a week. However, people who smoke, have certain health conditions, or have recently been at high altitudes may not qualify. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to understand how the body adjusts to different conditions, which could help improve exercise performance and comfort in hot environments.
