ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is exploring how using kaleidoscope and virtual reality glasses can help reduce pain and anxiety in children during blood draws. The goal is to see if these fun distractions can make the experience less stressful for kids aged 9 to 12 when they need to have their blood collected for medical tests.

To be eligible for this trial, children must be between 9 and 12 years old, and both the child and their parents must agree to take part in the study. It's important that the child can communicate well and doesn’t have any hearing, speech, or vision problems. If your child participates, they can expect to use the virtual reality glasses while the blood draw is happening, which may help them feel more relaxed. This study is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to provide helpful insights into making medical procedures easier for children.
