ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how a special tool called the LithoVue Elite ureteroscope, which helps doctors treat kidney stones, can be improved by using a technology that measures pressure inside the kidney in real-time. The main goal is to see if having this pressure information helps surgeons make better decisions during the procedure and improves the results for patients afterward.
To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and have kidney stones that are larger than 2 cm, located in the upper ureter or kidney. However, if you are undergoing treatment for kidney stones on both sides at the same time, have certain medical conditions, or are pregnant, you won’t be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to undergo a flexible ureteroscopy, which is a procedure that helps remove stones, and your experience will help researchers understand how to make this treatment safer and more effective for future patients.
