ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how fibromyalgia, a condition known for causing chronic pain, fatigue, and cognitive issues, affects balance and hearing in patients. Researchers want to understand the differences in how men and women experience fibromyalgia, especially since the guidelines for diagnosing this condition have changed recently. The trial is currently recruiting participants aged 15 to 50 who have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Unfortunately, those with certain other health issues or who are taking specific medications that can affect hearing won't be able to take part.

If you join the trial, you will undergo various tests to assess your hearing and balance. This could help researchers learn more about fibromyalgia and improve understanding and treatment for everyone affected by this condition, especially women who are often more severely impacted. Your participation could contribute valuable information to the ongoing study of fibromyalgia and its effects.
