ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at a new way to help women of child-bearing age get the preconception care they need. Preconception care is important because it helps women prepare for a healthy pregnancy, but many clinics have trouble providing this support due to time constraints. This study is testing a unique screening tool that allows women to choose their own questions about their health, making it easier for them to be involved in their care. By encouraging women to take an active role, the hope is to increase the use of preconception services during regular doctor visits.

To participate in this trial, women need to be biologically female, between the ages of 19 and 49, and visiting the clinic for a routine check-up or preventive appointment. If qualified, participants can expect to use this self-selected screening tool during their visit, which aims to spark discussions about their health and promote positive behavior changes. Overall, this study seeks to find out if this approach can improve preconception health for women and help them prepare for future pregnancies.
