ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a type of counseling called Solution-Focused Counseling (SFC) to help women who are experiencing symptoms related to menopause, including feelings of sadness or depression. The goal is to see if this counseling can improve their overall well-being and reduce menopause-related symptoms. Women living in Karabük who have been diagnosed with menopause for at least one year and are willing to participate may be eligible for the study.
Participants will be randomly assigned to either the counseling group or a control group, where they will receive general information about menopausal symptoms. Those in the counseling group will attend six one-on-one sessions with a counselor over a few weeks, focusing on their specific concerns in a comfortable setting. All participants will complete surveys before, immediately after, and two months following the counseling sessions to track any changes in their symptoms and well-being. This study is currently recruiting women aged 16 to 40, and it aims to provide valuable insights into how counseling can support women during menopause.
