ClinConnect Summary
The AIM-GDM trial is a study that aims to find out if an AI-based counseling service can help women manage gestational diabetes, a condition that can occur during pregnancy. The trial will look at how effective this digital support is for making healthy nutrition choices and managing diabetes symptoms. The study is not yet recruiting participants, but it plans to include women aged 18 to 45 who have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes and can use a smartphone. Women must also be fluent in English or Spanish to participate.
If you qualify and choose to join the study, you can expect to receive personalized nutrition and counseling advice through an app or service on your smartphone. However, this trial will not include women who already have diabetes before pregnancy or those with certain high-risk medical conditions. Additionally, if you cannot consent to participate or do not speak English or Spanish, you won't be eligible. This trial represents an innovative approach to supporting expectant mothers in managing their health during pregnancy.
