ClinConnect Summary
The LINEAGE trial is designed to improve the understanding and care of individuals with Lynch syndrome, a genetic condition that increases the risk of certain cancers. The main goal of this study is to gather information from people with Lynch syndrome over time, including their health data and biological samples, to better understand how this condition works and how it can be managed. Researchers hope to use this information to develop better ways to prevent and detect cancer early in those affected by Lynch syndrome.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be adults over 18 years old who have a specific genetic change associated with Lynch syndrome, confirmed through genetic testing. The study is open to everyone, regardless of gender. If you join, you can expect to share your health information and possibly help shape future treatments and screenings for Lynch syndrome. This research is important because it aims to enhance care and improve the quality of life for individuals and families dealing with this condition.
