ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is investigating the relationship between chronic pelvic pain and endometriosis, a condition where tissue similar to the lining inside the uterus grows outside of it, causing pain. Chronic pelvic pain is a common issue for many women and can last for more than six months, often linked to various gynecological problems. The study aims to understand how chronic pelvic pain impacts recovery after surgery and how different questionnaires and tests might help measure this relationship.

To participate in this trial, women aged 18 to 50 who have been diagnosed with endometriosis through surgery or imaging may be eligible. It's important that participants do not have a history of migraines, tension headaches, or mental health issues. Those who are postmenopausal or have had certain surgeries, like a hysterectomy, will not be included. If eligible, participants can expect to complete surveys and undergo various tests related to their condition. This research is crucial for better understanding chronic pelvic pain and improving treatment options for women facing this challenging condition.
