ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding and managing a condition called hyperuricemia, which means having high levels of uric acid in the blood. The study will take place at Assiut University Hospital and aims to identify patients who have this condition, especially those who also suffer from other chronic medical issues like diabetes, high blood pressure, or heart disease. By finding these patients early, the researchers hope to better manage their hyperuricemia and any related health problems.
To participate in this study, individuals need to be at least 18 years old and have one of the chronic conditions mentioned. However, the trial will not include anyone under 18 or those who already have gouty arthritis, acute kidney disease, or are taking certain medications. Participants will undergo screening and assessments to see if they have hyperuricemia and will receive guidance on managing their condition if needed. This trial is an important step in improving care for patients with chronic diseases and high uric acid levels.
