ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how often children and teenagers with Type 1 diabetes also experience mental health issues, like anxiety or depression. Researchers want to understand how these psychiatric conditions affect the daily lives and overall well-being of young people living with diabetes. They will look at different factors that might influence both mental health and quality of life for these patients.
To participate in this study, children and adolescents aged 8 to 15 years who have been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and are receiving treatment may be eligible. However, those with serious mental health disorders or cognitive difficulties, as well as those who cannot or choose not to give consent, will not be included. Participants can expect to be part of an important research effort that could lead to better support for young people managing diabetes and mental health challenges in the future.
