ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new tool called the BETY-Biopsychosocial Questionnaire (BETY-BQ), which is designed to help understand how myositis affects people not just physically, but also emotionally and socially. Myositis is a condition that causes muscle weakness and can impact other areas like skin, joints, and overall well-being. The researchers want to see if the BETY-BQ is a reliable and effective way to measure important aspects of life for those living with myositis, including pain, mood, and daily activities.
To join this study, participants need to be over 18 years old and diagnosed with myositis. However, individuals with certain other serious health conditions, pregnant women, and those with cancer cannot take part. If eligible, participants will be asked to complete the BETY-BQ, which aims to give a comprehensive picture of their quality of life and how the disease affects them. This research hopes to provide valuable insights that can improve care and support for individuals with myositis.
