ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how motor imagery ability, body awareness, and cognitive functions are related in people with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM). Essentially, researchers want to understand how well individuals can imagine movements and how this connects to their awareness of their own bodies and their thinking abilities. By looking into these areas, the study hopes to gain insights that could help improve the health and quality of life for those living with this condition.
To participate in this study, you need to be between 18 and 65 years old and have been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes for at least 5 years. It's important that you are willing to take part and do not have any issues with your sight, hearing, or speech that could interfere with the testing. However, if you've had any training in motor imagery techniques, have orthopedic issues that make walking difficult, or have a history of neurological diseases, you won't be eligible. Participants can expect to undergo various tests to assess their skills and awareness, and the findings from this study could lead to new ways of supporting those with Type 2 Diabetes.
