ClinConnect Summary
The ACTIVA-MENTE Project is a study designed to see how combining learning with physical activity during the school day can benefit adolescents in Extremadura. Specifically, it aims to understand how this approach affects students' physical fitness, health, and overall education. The trial is currently looking for participants, including adolescents aged 12 to 16 years who are in the 1st to 4th year of secondary school (ESO) and whose families can provide consent for them to join.
To participate, students need to attend a school in Extremadura with at least 210 students enrolled in these grades. However, students with any physical disabilities or health issues that might limit their ability to be physically active, as well as schools already involved in other similar programs, cannot take part. Those who join the study can expect to engage in activities that blend learning with movement, which may help them feel healthier and more active. This project is an exciting opportunity to promote both education and fitness among young people!
