ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is designed to study how measuring a part of body water called extracellular water can help doctors understand the fluid balance in adults who have had bleeding in the brain, known as intracranial hemorrhage. The main goal is to see if this measurement can provide more information about patients who are experiencing serious blood pressure changes, a condition referred to as hemodynamic instability. Patients who are admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) for treatment of intracranial hemorrhage will continue to receive their usual care, but they will also have their extracellular water levels measured as part of the study.
To participate in this trial, individuals must be adults who have been diagnosed with intracranial hemorrhage and have been admitted to the ICU. Unfortunately, pregnant women and those receiving end-of-life care are not eligible to join. This trial is currently not recruiting participants yet, but when it begins, it aims to gather important information that could improve treatment for patients with bleeding in the brain.
