ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how different types of obesity and related health issues affect kidney disease in adults with type 2 diabetes. The researchers want to compare four groups of people based on their obesity and metabolic status to see how often kidney disease occurs among them. They will also explore how kidney disease relates to obesity and other health risks in these patients.
To participate in this study, you must be an adult aged 18 or older with type 2 diabetes and be admitted to Assiut University Hospital. Some people will not be eligible, including those with type 1 diabetes, certain kidney problems, or specific health conditions like pregnancy and cancer. If you join the trial, you can expect to help researchers understand more about the connections between obesity, diabetes, and kidney health, which could lead to better treatments in the future. It's important to note that this trial is not yet recruiting participants, so there will be a wait before it starts.
