ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new questionnaire called the BETY-BQ, which helps assess various aspects of life for people with chronic kidney disease (CKD), those on dialysis, and kidney transplant recipients. The goal is to see how well this tool can measure important factors like pain, mood, social interactions, and overall well-being. Understanding these aspects can help doctors and healthcare teams better manage the care of patients with CKD, ultimately improving their quality of life.
To be eligible for the study, participants must be over 18 years old and have a diagnosis of chronic kidney disease, be currently receiving dialysis, or have received a kidney transplant. They should also be able to give consent to participate. If you join the study, you can expect to fill out the BETY-BQ questionnaire, which will help researchers gather valuable information about how CKD affects you personally. Please note that individuals with acute infections or cancer are not eligible to participate. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and your involvement could make a difference in understanding and improving care for people with chronic kidney disease.
